Echinacea, commonly known as purple coneflower, is native to the eastern and central regions of North America. These plants contain an impressive variety of active compounds, including caffeic acid, alkamides, phenolic acids, rosmarinic acid, and polyacetylenes, among others. How much should I take?
Studies suggest that the following dosages are effective for supporting immunity:
- Dry powdered extract: 300–500 mg of Echinacea purpurea, three times daily
